ACADEMY OVERVIEW

The Blount United Soccer Academy,  U5/U6 Coed along with U7 and U8 teams, focuses on setting the basic foundations of skill and technical play.

We begin with a soccer for fun-type atmosphere for our 2 year co-ed age group, U5/U6 players, to introduce the sport of soccer (AKA Futbol) in a fun way with occasional parent involvement.

The pre-competitive teams, U7 and U8, program builds on the skills gained as U5/U6 and begins to prepare our athletes for our competitive teams. Athletes are coached in a fun, inclusive, technically sound way, and they receive "travel team" coaching without the travel or expense. Team sizes are kept small, allowing our coaches to provide direct, timely feedback as they reinforce skills, terminology, and the fundamentals of soccer.
