Blount United family and soccer community: A fellow soccer club within our Eastern District was severely impacted by the floods this past week. Greeneville Galaxy Soccer Club has club families who lost some to all of their homes and belongings due to the floods. In an effort to support those affected by this disaster, we are organizing a donation drive to provide essential items such as clothing, toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, feminine products), non-perishable food items, gift cards, fast food cards, and cases of water. If you are able to contribute, please drop off your donation items to our concession stand as soon as possible. We will continue to update this post and others as we receive more information. Shout out to David Eversole, the lucky winner of the Nashville SC tickets at our Community Day event! He was able to celebrate his 14th birthday in style at the Nashville SC v Inter Miami game on June 29th. "We had an amazing time!" David's dad, Brian shared. "Jordi's goal was incredible, and our seats were perfect to see it all! The view from our seats was incredible – a beautiful night!" David is a huge Sergio Santos fan and was particularly impressed by his composure, vision, and passing skills. "He really looks up to him," his dad says. David enjoyed seeing all the players, especially favorites Walker Zimmerman, Dax McCarty, and Hany Mukhtar. "David felt so lucky to have won those tickets," his dad concluded.
